JACK BURLEIGH
Jack Burleigh was born in Lafayette and grew up in Morgan City.
Jack received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Pre-Law from Louisiana State University in 1985, graduating magna cum laude. He was also a Varsity Letterman on the LSU Tennis Team.
In 1988, Jack received his Juris Doctorate from the Louisiana State University Law Center, graduating in the top 2% of his class. He was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif. He is a member of the LSU Law Center Hall of Fame.
After law school, Jack worked as Law Clerk for The Honorable Frank J. Polozola, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Louisiana in Baton Rouge and participated in writing opinions for the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jack began his legal career working for Vinson & Elkins in Houston, one of the largest law firms in the United States, and then at Beck Redden in Houston, widely recognized as one of the top litigation firms in America.
In 2004, Jack decided to form his own firm representing individuals from Louisiana and Texas who had been injured in accidents through the fault of others. He has represented hundreds of clients in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, maritime accidents, premises liability cases, and products liability cases, and he has helped his clients receive millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts.
For the past eight years, Jack has worked on cases representing Louisiana asbestos victims and their families, including cases that resulted in multi-million dollar settlements. In 2023, Jack joined Waddell Anderman, a firm dedicated to providing quality representation to asbestos victims and others injured in accidents.
Jack is licensed in Louisiana and Texas.
